What We Collect

When you subscribe to Dawnline, we collect:

• Email address — Required for brief delivery
• Subscription tier — Free or paid
• Payment information — Processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers

How We Use It

• Deliver your daily intelligence brief
• Process subscription payments (paid tier)
• Send service-related notices (outages, TOS changes)

We do not send marketing emails beyond the brief you subscribed to.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• We do not share your email with advertisers
• We do not track your reading behavior within briefs
• We do not use tracking pixels in emails

Data Storage

Subscriber data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on infrastructure we control. Backups are encrypted and retained for 7 days.

Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as your subscription is active. Upon cancellation or unsubscription, your email is removed from active delivery lists within 24 hours. Backup copies are purged within 7 days.

Your Rights

You may:

• Unsubscribe at any time via the link in any brief email
• Request a copy of data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email.
